It doesn’t happen very often…but, it does happen. Someone close to you gets a word from the Lord, says “yes”, and actually moves quite a distance away in order to fulfill God’s plan for their life. The Caufield Family and the ECF Family is about to experience this very thing! Tracey Caufield is headed to Swaziland on January 23, 2008, to be a part of Gary and Lisa Black’s ministry. Orphans are their primary focus, but there are a variety of task and missions they are trying to accomplish in Swaziland. I’ve known Gary, Lisa and their 6 children very well since the year 2000! So, what about our choice vessel…Tracey? I’ve thought about her and how she is going to fit with all that is going on over there. Make no mistake, she is about to be stretched out of her mind, but she will be incredible at what ever she plugs herself into! She is about to embark on a great mysterious journey…fully alive…full of the Holy Spirit! Yes, we will miss her! She is an amazing lady and we will all know that she is gone. There are countless contributions that she quietly makes to the ECF Family…all under the radar…but, every one of them strategic and beneficial to the Body. I am extremely excited for her! She has prayed for this opportunity and the Lord has answered. Tracey’s exact timeline for return is not clear at this point. Most probable it will be 6 months to 1 year before we see her back here in McGregor.

So, what about us? How do we get onboard and under-gird this God thing? The Elders have discussed it at length and here is what we propose: FIRST, we want you to PRAY… not only for Tracey, but also LA and Petelia. Also, we need to remember Gary, Lisa and kids while they live in Swaziland. Ask the Lord to protect them and grant them great favor in the land! SECOND, we want you to seek the Lord about FINANCIAL SUPPORT for Tracey on a monthly basis! It will work like this: Pray about this until you have a clear picture about how you are to give. Then, each month you will write your check or send your cash to my (Mike Paschall) own ministry ~ “VineLife Ministries International”. Each month, I will send your money designated to support Tracey’s expenses directly to Gary and Lisa. The exact amount has yet to be determined as to what she will actually need, but Gary has indicated around $750 a month will be very close. THIRD, it would be helpful to the Elders if we had an ideal of what you’re planning to COMMIT to the task. It could be a one-time gift or you might actually plan to give every month until Tracey returns. When you send your first month’s contribution to VMI in January or February, include a short note to indicate what you plan to do. That allows us to budget accordingly. Other than that, this is all in the Lord’s hands! Make no mistake, this is His way and His ways are awesome! What a privilege to participate! Here is the mailing address for sending your support:

There will be soaking and private worship from 7:30 p.m. until about 9:00 p.m.  At that time, we’ll come together and enter into corporate prayer over the things that need our attention.  We’ll stay in prayer as long as is necessary!!!  Hope you can join us! 

The Elders would ask the body to pray about giving a monetary gift (no gift is too small…no gift is too large) to the Black Family serving in Swaziland.  Be sure to identify the “Blacks” in the memo area of your check.  If you’re giving cash, use an envelope and identify where the money goes.   Thanks for your prayerful consideration and generous spirit!
